Apex Legends Mobile Surpasses Pre-Registration Goal
Clash of Clans Spring 2022 update could be coming in May now
How excited is everyone to play Apex Legends Mobile? Just one month after pre-registration opened for the mobile version of the popular battle royale game, players have already surpassed the original pre-registration goals.
When EA first opened up pre-registration for Apex Legends Mobile, they did so with the goal of getting 10 million players to sign up. At certain stages, the community would unlock cosmetic rewards. They were:
A little over a month later, EA had to rise to the challenge. Demand has been so overwhelming that EA has added two more tiers of pre-registration rewards. The new levels are 15 million and 25 million pre-registrations. This latest feat would more than double the current number of pre-registrations for the game.
If the community is to reach 25 million pre-registrations, players will also unlock the “Become Legendary Holospray” at 15 million and then the “Sunfire Initiative Pathfinder Skin” at 25 million. Obviously these are lofty new goals, but it’s clear there’s excitement for the game to be released. I sincerely hope they unlock them for free even if we don’t reach the goal, because 12 million pre-registrations is quite an achievement.
If you’re interested, you can pre-register for Apex Legends Mobile on Android and iOS devices. You can read more about the device requirements and specifications here. The game is currently available in select regions as part of EA’s regional rollout, but there is no release date in the US or worldwide. It is speculated that the game could launch globally in the third quarter of this year.
In the meantime, Apex Legends is playable for free on console and PC. There is no cross-platform support for the mobile version of the game as it is designed specifically for mobile devices. I assume it will play the same as the console version, though obviously some tweaking is needed.
