Norwich City are back in the League Cup tonight as they welcome Premier League side AFC Bournemouth to Carrow Road – and we’ll bring you live updates as they happen.

The Canaries reached this stage of the competition with a penalty shoot-out win over fellow Championship side Birmingham earlier this month.

Dean Smith’s men will be hoping to build on the momentum they created last week with back-to-back wins over Huddersfield Town and Millwall in the Championship.

The City chief is expected to rotate his squad heavily, with players on the sidelines and those returning from injury expected to feature.

Adam Idah is set to return from a knee injury but is expected to only be fit enough for the bench. Gabriel Sara could also feature. Andrew Omobamidele is expected to miss the game with an ankle strike.

It was exactly the same game as last season, with the Canaries winning 6-0.

Bournemouth were beaten 3-0 by Arsenal at the weekend and are preparing to face Liverpool this weekend.

Scott Parker is also expected to mix up his squad, with Premier League survival being the Cherries’ priority this season.
