Not including your date of birth in MySejahtera will jeopardize your vaccination status

MySejahtera posted a notice through its official social media channels, advising users to update their profiles to include their date of birth. According to his Twitter post, failure to do so will significantly affect an individual’s vaccination status.

Your fully vaccinated status will not be displayed on the MySejahtera profile if you do not update your date of birth,” MySejahtera tweeted. “Update your date of birth immediately!”

As most of us know by now, having a verified user profile and full vaccination status are crucial for every Malaysian citizen. These allow them to enter the premises, as well as travel both nationally and internationally.

To update your profile, first ensure that the latest version of MySejahtera is installed on your mobile device. Once the app is open, simply return to the home screen (as it often defaults to the recording screen each time you load it) and tap the profile tab at the bottom right of the screen. From there, tap the “three lines” button in the top right, then tap My Personal Information to update your information in the form that appears after.

However, we would like to point out that users may experience difficulty updating their profiles on the iOS version of the app, as the changes are not reflected immediately. Not sure if this is a server issue or a bug, but we strongly urge you to file a report directly with MySejahtera if the issue persists after multiple attempts. We haven’t experienced this with the Android version.
