Step by Step Guide to Activate Internet Banking, Mobile Banking
New Delhi: With digital, many users rely on mobile banking and internet banking for their transactions, whether transferring money between accounts or making purchases. Likewise, holders of Postal Savings Bank Accounts can avail these services provided by India Post.
–Active single or joint “B” savings account valid at CBS Sub Post Office or Main Post Office.
–Accounts held at the branch post office are not eligible for internet banking service.
–Provide necessary KYC documents, if not already submitted
–Valid unique mobile number
–E-mail address
–PAN number
Steps to Register and Activate India Post Online Banking Services:
2nd step: Once the SMS has been received, go to the Internet banking DOP portal and click on the “New User Activation” hyperlink on the home page.
Step 3: Enter Customer ID and Account ID (Customer ID is the CIF ID shown on the first page of the savings account book. Your savings account number is the account ID).
Step 4: Fill in the required information and set your Internet Banking login and transaction passwords.
Step 5: Log in and set up your security questions and answers, as well as your password.
For Online Banking User ID to be activated successfully, these procedures must be done.
Online operations
Funds can be transferred from your POSB account to other POSB accounts belonging to you or a third party. The following transactions can be made using online banking:
PPF Deposit and PPF Withdrawal
RD Deposit, RD Half Withdrawal Refund
SSA deposit
RD and TD account opening
Closing or pre-closing of RD and TD accounts
The opposition to the payment of the check can be registered

Steps to start mobile banking:
Complete the mobile banking application and submit.
After registering for DoP Mobile Banking, download the India Post mobile banking app from Google Play Store and use the Activate Mobile Banking option and follow the predefined steps after 24 hours of registration.
The CIF ID is printed on the first page of your booklet, the default username. You can change your mobile banking channel login credentials in the Update Channel Login Credential option under the My Profile section in Internet Banking.
Step 1: Download the Mobile Banking application from the Google Play store
2nd step: Click on the ‘Activate Mobile Banking’ tab
Step 3: Enter security credentials and enter OTP
Step 4: Once your activation has been authenticated, you will be prompted to enter your four-digit MPIN
Step 5: Click submit
You can now log in to the DOP mobile banking app.

Account balance and details – savings, RD, LARD, TD, PPF, loan against PPF, NSC
Transaction History — Savings, RD, TD, PPF, Loan vs. PPF, NSC
Mini Statement – Savings, PPF Transactions
Transfer of funds between own savings accounts and savings accounts of other users within the DOP
Transferring funds from savings account to own/linked RD and own/linked LARD accounts
Transfer of funds from savings account to own/linked PPF accounts (subscription and loan on PPF)
