Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden also had strong individual campaigns in terms of attacking power.
At the end of the 2021/22 season, Football Manager 2021 established an overall best City XI, based on performance, stats and other metrics.
Here’s what the best City XI looked like in 2021/22 according to FM21.
Best XI in Complete City: Ederson; Cancelo, Dias, Stones, Tagliafico; De Bruyne, Rodri, Foden; Silva, Kane, Sterling.
Kane was the club’s center forward, with Foden playing mostly in the center midfielder and new signing Tagliafico appearing at left-back.
