However, a stationary robotic arm cannot meet the needs of more applications. It will be extremely useful if the robot has the ability to pick up an object and then carry it a distance. 1. Hardware updates and secondary development support
The fully enveloping design with a metal frame makes the myAGV more compact and stronger. 2. Built-in algorithms and ROS support
Built-in Gmapping and Cartographer algorithms allow myAGV to be able to scan and map in real time, automatically plan trajectories and avoid collisions. Because being able to know where myAGV is positioned in relation to both itself and the environment is important when trying to navigate autonomously, myAGV has therefore been configured on a Lidar module to transmit and receive beams bright laser. The data is then fed into a SLAM algorithm to determine where the robot is in its environment. In addition, myAGV supports the ROS simulation development environment. Users can also learn many AI applications and research with the camera in the ROS environment, such as robot vision, robot communication, visual tracking, SLAM navigation, and basic locomotion.
