Apple services, including the App Store, resume after an outage for the second day in a row

March 22 (Reuters) – Apple Music, Apple Inc’s Mobile App Store and Podcasts (AAPL.O) resumed services on Tuesday, after facing outages for a second straight day, according to the page. enterprise system status.

Tuesday’s outage also affected the Mac App Store, Apple Card users, Apple Books, iCloud Web Apps and Weather. Monday’s outage affected 11 of Apple’s services, including Arcade and Maps.

It was not immediately clear what caused the outages on both days, but Bloomberg News reported on Monday that Apple told staff the outage stemmed from the domain name system, or DNS – an Internet address book that allows computers to match website addresses with the correct server. Read more

Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Tuesday’s outage.
